This approach allowed us to address all factors affecting the site’s visibility in search results and user experience. Often, while solving one problem, we identified several others. For example, while optimizing the link structure, we discovered many duplicate pages, which negatively impacted overall indexing.
Although the website’s technical foundation was solid, certain shortcomings negatively impacted its ranking in search engines and user experience.
Below, we will describe those issues that required immediate resolution.
The website contained internal URLs that returned a 3xx response code. This meant that when users clicked on these links, they were redirected to another page. A large number of such redirects indicates issues like incorrect website structure, content duplication, and other related problems.
The ideal situation is when all pages on the site return a 200 response code. For example:

This signals to search engines that the page is found and available for indexing. Redirects, especially 301 redirects, although they transfer some link equity, still represent an additional step that slows down page loading and confuses search bots. This solution to the problem was communicated to the client by our team.
Website performance analysis in Google showed that the loading speed for both the mobile and desktop versions left much to be desired. Both versions significantly lag behind the recommended metrics, failing to reach the green zone (above 90 points).
To better understand the issue, let’s examine one service page as an example.
In the mobile version, the page takes more than 2 seconds to load. Furthermore, users can only interact with the content after 11 seconds.
Upon checking the desktop version, the performance was better, but the overall page speed still didn’t reach the green zone. As a result, visitors were left with a suboptimal experience.
Our team suggested implementing several recommendations for improvement, including: reducing JavaScript execution time, minimizing the size of the DOM structure, deferring the loading of visible images, setting width and height attributes for images, removing unused CSS code, and more.
Additionally, it’s worth noting that similar issues were not only present on service pages but also on blog pages. However, solutions were found for all of them without exception.
Analysis of Core Web Vitals metrics revealed a significant number of pages with low CLS (Cumulative Layout Shift) and LCP (Largest Contentful Paint) scores. This indicated that the content on these pages was unstable, and users experienced difficulties interacting with it.
Since the Kevuru Games website is cross-platform, its optimization required extra attention. It was essential to ensure fast loading speeds and a smooth user experience on both large computer screens and smaller mobile device screens.

To address this issue, we recommended taking steps to stabilize unstable elements, optimize font loading, and improve image rendering.

The issues described above reflect the most significant aspects of the technical optimization and provide a general understanding of the scope of work completed.
The technical aspects of the website were brought into order, but this was just the beginning. To ensure the site not only looks good to search bots but also attracts organic traffic, we developed and implemented a comprehensive SEO strategy.
At the initial stage of the project, we conducted an in-depth analysis of the semantics. The goal was simple – to expand the website structure and enhance its visibility in search engines. Initially, the website contained several pages dedicated to game development and animation.

The collected keywords were grouped into thematic clusters, taking into account their semantic relevance and commercial value.

Each cluster was scored, evaluating factors such as search volume (priority), competition level, and alignment with the client’s business goals (traffic potential).
Next, we analyzed the backlink profile of key competitors to identify the most effective promotion strategies. As a result of this analysis, key areas for increasing backlink volume and improving the site’s ranking in search results were identified.

As a result, a comprehensive semantic structure was created, containing over 150 commercial clusters. The obtained data will be used to create new pages, optimize existing content, and develop an effective SEO strategy.
To improve the website’s performance and achieve higher rankings in search engine results, a thorough analysis of competitors and existing content was conducted. The analysis revealed key issues, such as insufficient optimization of headings and meta descriptions, low keyword density, and a lack of structured data.
Based on this, we developed a detailed technical specification (TS), researching the top competitors in the search results and analyzing keyword usage and LSI. The TS clearly outlined the following areas for improvement:

The implementation of this TS will increase the relevance of the website’s content to search queries, enhance user experience, and, as a result, boost organic traffic and conversion rates.
This stage marked the beginning of the second phase of the team’s work. First, a detailed anchor plan was developed, considering the commercial intent and semantics of each page. After the plan was approved, we proceed to order the relevant content for outreach.
